About Our Client
Our client is seeking an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician in Richmond, VA with strong Honda, Acura, Toyota, Lexus, and other Asian vehicle experience. This opportunity offers $35-$45 per flagged hour, with earning potential of $105,000-$150,000+ annually.
Our client operates a well-established independent automotive repair facility known for quality repairs, honest service, and exceptional customer care. Experienced technicians are supported by consistent workflow, knowledgeable service advisors, and an efficient operation designed to keep productive technicians flagging hours year-round.
Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced automotive diagnostics and repairs, primarily on Honda, Toyota, Acura, and Lexus vehicles
Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, drivability, steering, suspension, braking, and HVAC systems
Complete timing belt services, wheel bearing replacements, brake repairs, maintenance services, and complex mechanical repairs
Utilize ALLDATA, scan tools, and diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and resolve vehicle concerns
Perform clear and complete Digital Vehicle Inspections
Perform Virginia State Inspections
Communicate with service advisors regarding repair recommendations and vehicle status
Maintain accurate repair documentation, high-quality workmanship, and an organized professional work area
Qualifications
8+ years of professional automotive repair experience required
Strong experience servicing Honda, Toyota, Acura, and Lexus vehicles required
Advanced automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Experience working in an independent repair facility and/or dealership environment
Virginia State Inspection License required
ASE Certifications are a plus but not required
Compensation & Benefits
